We understand that the success of an enterprise is based on not only the hard work of the company itself, but also the support from the public. In addition to improving the quality of our products, White Flower International has been actively participating in many efforts to improve our society and make a better future. The care for the society is the great legacy which our founder, Mr. Geok-Eng Gan left to us.
White Flower International has transformed from a manufacturer producing solely traditional Chinese herbal products to the modern pharmaceutical company with products meeting GMP standards. We are now working on making all our products with cGMP quality. We also have been developing many different new products. To protect children from mistaking medicine, we also took part in the development of "safe lids for external-use liquid medicine", which was awarded with the honor of "manufacturing technology of medical products,
bronze medal".
White Flower International also cooperates with universities and research institutes to test our products through animal experiments or clinical trials. Pharmacological experiments and safety evaluations of both our market-available products and products in development are now being executed regularly. For example, the toxicity animal tests of The White Flower Embrocation commissioned to the Institute of Herbal Medicine , Ta-jen University , further proved the safety of our products. There are more ongoing research projects. We also invest a lot of time and money in developing new products to diversify our catalog.
In addition to improving our product quality, we are also dedicated to better the effect of our products. We want to make safer and better health-improving products. In the future, we will provide more products to serve customers with our utmost care.
White Flower International used to sponsor the winter rescue events, providing necessary supplies for underprivileged during the winter. Taiwanese people have become wealthier in general so the winter rescue is less demanded. To extend our outreach for those in need, we started to sponsor many charity events in response to the invitations from various organizations (schools and social welfare groups), in addition to our direct participation in various philanthropic activities. We donated money and our products for greater causes, such as disaster relief, presented by school, religious organizations and other social groups. We acknowledge White Flower International's success so far to the support from the public. And we are doing the best to return the favor.
Despite that White Flower products might not be the biggest emphasis in the charity events sponsored by us as it was in the winter rescue, we are happy to see that we can contribute to something we care about, that is, the society. In the future, we will keep the spirit of helping people in need by actively participating in public welfare affairs.
